The island nation has agreed to join the EU’s Comprehensive Plan to improve access to affordable sexual health and address sexual dysfunction in Jamaica, the nation’s newest member state.
The plan will be rolled out to all the island’s Caribbean nations and is part of a $1.4 billion, regional, tax-avoidance plan announced Tuesday.
The plan aims to improve access to sexual health services, including condoms and health services, through the Caribbean Community’s national healthcare system.
It is also expected to reduce the number of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and increase the rate of the majority of sexually transmitted infections, including gonorrhea and syphilis, the island’s main public health emergency.
The plan is expected to include new prescription medications, including Viagra and Cialis, which are widely available.
The plan has been approved by the General Assembly.
The plan also includes the adoption of a plan by the Caribbean Community that has been created in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Caribbean Community, the Caribbean Development Fund and the National Commission for Social Partnerships.
The plan was developed in partnership with the National Commission for Social Partnerships to help address sexual health.
“We are pleased to be part of this comprehensive plan that will improve access to sexual health services in Jamaica,” said Mr. John W. Allen, interim secretary general of the island nation’s health department.
“The plan will provide health care services to all island countries by the end of the 21st Century,” he said.
The plan will be rolled out to all the Caribbean countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, India and China.
The plan is being financed by the Jamaica Foundation for Health Insurance Research and Treatment (JFFHRI), a charity that funds the health of the region.
